Hitchcock, the program's all-time hits leader, a four-time America East all-star and the 2007 conference Player of the Year, became the 10th baseball player to earn entry into the Hall.Â
Lehman, a two-time all-region selection who led her teams to postseason berths all four years, is the fourth softball player to reach the pinnacle.Â
Patterson, a four-time NCAA qualifier and the program's first Division I All-American, is the 10th wrestler to be voted into the Hall of Fame.
The 1983 cross country team, led by Hall of Fame coach Gary Truce and assistant coach John Colonna, was well represented on Saturday with 10 former members in attendance. The team, which placed fifth at the 1983 NCAA Championship, is the first women's team to be selected.Â
