HAMILTON, N.Y. - Host Colgate (8-6) captured the doubles point and that was difference as the Raiders handed Binghamton men's tennis (5-12) a 4-3 setback Thursday afternoon at Sanford Field House.Â
After Colgate grabbed the doubles point to stake itself to a 1-0 lead, the teams split the six singles matches, with BU winning at Nos. 2, 4 and 6 and the Raiders taking the odd courts.
Freshman
Kushaan Nath improved to 21-13 overall, 10-6 in duals with his three-set win at second singles. Â
The Bearcats next embark on a Midwest road trip that includes matches at Western Michigan (Monday) and Northern Illinois (Wednesday) during spring break.
