MUNCIE, Ind. - Binghamton men's tennis (5-17, 1-7 MAC) came up short in its bid for a postseason berth, falling 5-2 to host Ball State (14-9, 3-3 MAC) Saturday afternoon at the Cardinal Creek Tennis Center. The Bearcats could've made a run a the fourth and final MAC tournament berth with a win but playing without its top player, BU couldn't pull out the win.
"Although the season ended with a disappointing loss, I am proud of our players' efforts as they fought hard to the end," head coach
Nick Zieziula said. "We have a lot to build on for next year. All players will be returning, and I am confident they will continue to develop in the coming year."
