Saez provides singles win at No. 5

WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. - Binghamton men's tennis (3-14, 0-3 MAC) dropped the doubles point and then came up short in a pair of three-set singles matches as host Buffalo (9-8, 2-1 MAC) posted a 6-1 win Friday afternoon at the Miller Tennis Center.

Junior Inigo Saez earned BU's lone point with a 6-4, 7-5 victory at No. 5 singles.

"We put up a good fight today against a strong Buffalo team," head coach Nick Zieziula said. "Right now the big thing is to build off the things we did well today and forget everything else. We play a huge match at home Sunday in our house."

Binghamton hosts Northern Illinois at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Binghamton Tennis Center.
