Bearcats battle visiting Bulls but come up short 7-0 at Binghamton Tennis Center

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Visiting Buffalo (8-8, 3-1 MAC) took a tight doubles point and then closed out Binghamton men's tennis (8-13, 0-6 MAC) 7-0 Monday afternoon indoors at the Binghamton Tennis Center.

The Bulls clinched the doubles point with a tiebreak win at No. 3. The Bearcats then extended three singles matches to a third set but Buffalo prevailed in each.

"The final score doesn't reflect what the team put into this match today," head coach Nick Zieziula said. "We had fight, grit and only lacked the finishing nails at the end of sets. We can build off this match today. We get some needed time to digest this and prepare for Ball State."

Binghamton closes the regular season by hosting Ball State on April 14.
