VESTAL, N.Y. - The Binghamton volleyball team returns to action against Hartford Sunday afternoon, following a nine-day stretch between matches.The Bearcats are sitting at 2-1 in the America East following victories over NJIT and Albany, and a loss against Stony Brook.

Sprys is amongst the America East leaders with a .291 hitting percentage, and Kiara Adams is fourth in the conference with 425 assists. Stefana Stan is fifth in the conference with 164 kills, Tyra Wilson is fifth in aces (16), and Emily Rail is fifth in digs (216).

Sunday's action will be the 35th meeting between the two sides. Binghamton holds the current series lead, 22-12.
Scouting Hartford

The Hawks are seeking their first conference win of the season, and are coming off a 3-0 loss at Albany Friday evening.

Hartford went 2-11 in non-conference play, with wins over Merrimack and Quinnipiac.

Camryn Luginbuhl leads the way for the visitors offensively, with 205 kills. She had a season high 23 against Quinnipiac.

Alex Lucero leads the conference with 4.79 digs per set. Also against Quinnipiac, the senior had a season high 34 digs.

Valerie Diede has 48 blocks on the season for the Hawks, good enough for tops on the team and sixth in the conference.

The Bearcats will hit the road for two matches next weekend. The Bearcats will take on defending America East champion UMBC before finishing off the trip at Stony Brook. Those matches will begin at 7 p.m. and 1 p.m. respectively.
