Men's Tennis Returns Home for MAC Play

Bearcats Host Ball State Friday, Toledo Sunday

VESTAL, NY- The Binghamton Men's Tennis team (0-3 MAC) returns home to host two conference matches this weekend. The Bearcats play Ball State University on Friday at 12 pm, before taking on the University of Toledo on Sunday at 11 am.  

Binghamton has received strong performances from sophomores Michael Pawlowicz and Dan Pergel to begin the season, and both were victorious in their singles contests against NIU. 

Cardinals Flying High

-Ball State is ranked 44th nationally, with a 12-3 record on the season. They are 1-2 in MAC play.
-The Cardinals are coming off back-to-back victories over Toledo and Butler in the last two weekends. Against Butler, the Cardinals were victorious in five of the six singles matches. 
-Ball State has won the three previous meetings with Binghamton. The all-time series between the two teams is even, 3-3.

Rockets Sputtering

-Toledo enters this weekend with a 4-5 record, but on a three-match losing streak in MAC play. The Rockets have yet to win on the road this year in two attempts. 
-Seven of the ten members of this year's roster are international players, from six different countries.
-The Rockets have beaten the Bearcats in two consecutive meetings. However, Binghamton holds a 5-2 advantage in the series history.
