VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton women's soccer (0-1) hosts Fordham (0-1) in the team's home opener Sunday afternoon at the Bearcats Sports Complex. The game has been moved up to noon and will be broadcast on ESPN+.Â
The Bearcats are coming off a 2-0 loss at Siena on Thursday. Binghamton held a 16-10 shots advantage and earned eight corner kicks but the host Saints tallied in the 22nd and 72nd minutes to account for the margin. Senior keeper

The Rams opened their season with a 1-0 loss at Colgate on Thursday. The team was outshot 14-6 and gave up the deciding goal in the 13th minute. In her first collegiate start, senior keeper Maggie Grossman made four saves. Fordham returns 19 letterwinners from a spring team that went 4-3-1 and just missed a berth in the Atlantic 10 tournament after winning four straight. The team is defensive-minded and posted a school-record 0.70 goals against average with four shutouts in eight games last spring. Fordham was picked ninth out of 14 teams in this fall's A-10 Preseason Poll. Â
The game will be the first between the two programs. — and is BU's lone home game among its first five to open the season.   Â
