WEST POINT, N.Y. - Senior Dan Pergel and sophomore Kyle Weekes each advanced to the singles Round of 32 to highlight Binghamton men's tennis' showing at the ITA Northeast Regional, hosted by Army.

Pergel won a pair of three-set matches over opponents from Fairfield and Boston College before being eliminated in a straight-set loss to Jose Pablo Davila from Siena, 6-3, 6-1. Weekes received a bye in the Round of 128 before posting a 6-3, 6-3 win over Kostas Kolias from Fairfield in the Round of 64. His tournament ended with a three-set defeat in the Round of 32.

Also winning singles matches were senior Michael Pawlowicz and freshmen Ronin Lotlikar and James McPherson. 

In doubles, McPherson and freshman William Morais Binnie posted an 8-5 opening win before being forced to withdraw when Morais Binnie suffered an injury. 

The Bearcats continue their fall at the Cleveland State Invitational on Oct. 28-30.
