Men's tennis blanked by No. 58 Cornell

Bearcats drop road match to nationally-ranked Big Red 4-0

ITHACA, N.Y. - Nationally No. 58 Cornell posted a 4-0 win over visiting Binghamton men's tennis Sunday afternoon at the Reis Tennis Center. 

The top doubles team of sophomores Shourya Verma and Kyle Weekes posted a 6-2 win to be first off the court. Binghamton nearly grabbed the doubles point with a lead at No. 3 before the Big Red rallied. Cornell then won the first three completed singles matches to clinch the victory and halt the remaining three matches. 

The Bearcats are back in action Friday when they host MAC foe Ball State up in Syracuse.
