VESTAL, N.Y. - Visiting Ball State staked itself to the doubles point and then won four of the six singles matches to defeat Binghamton men's tennis 5-2 Friday afternoon at the Lane Tennis Center. 

Sophomore No. 1 Shourya Verma earned a three-set win,dropping the first set before rallying for a 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 win. Freshman No. 5 Joshua Roe Flannelly posted BU's other singles win - a straight-set triumph. 

The Bearcats conclude their season Sunday against Toledo. The home match will either be played outdoors at the Lane Tennis Center or indoors at the nearby Binghamton Tennis Center.
