Men's tennis blanked by No. 74 Western Michigan

Host Broncos topple Bearcats 7-0; BU returns home to host Buffalo next Saturday

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - No. 74 Western Michigan (11-7, 7-0 MAC) posted a 7-0 home win over Binghamton men's tennis Sunday afternoon at West Hills Athletic Club.

The Bearcats earned a win at No. 3 doubles when sophomore Shourya Verma and junior Adi Ben-Ari teamed for a 6-3 victory. The top tandem also played a strong match before the unbeaten MAC-leading Broncos captured the opening doubles point.

In singles, Verma pushed his opponent to a third set at No. 1 before falling 10-5. 

The Bearcats next host Buffalo on April 9.
