Box Score PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Binghamton's contingent wrapped up play at the ITA Northeast Regional, hosted by Penn over the weekend. The Bearcats had three doubles teams and five singles entries.

Sophomores William Morais Binnie and James McPherson had the most success, winning two doubles matches to reach the Round of 16. Both players also won a singles match.

"We are disappointed that we didn't punch anyone through (to Super Regionals) this weekend, but in terms of growth, improving and learning, this was our most productive Regional in many years," head coach Nick Zieziula said. "Ultimately, the fall season is about growing and getting ready for the spring and we are on the right track with a young team early in the year."

The Bearcats continue their fall at the Navy Invitational on Oct. 13-15 in Annapolis.
