STATE COLLEGE Pa./ ITHACA, N.Y. – Junior
Jenna Chan broke her own school record in the women's 60 hurdles and Binghamton recorded six first-place finishes, highlighting its performances at the Cornell/Kane Invitational and the Penn State/Sykes & Sabock Challenge. There was no team scoring at either indoor track & field meet.
Chan placed second overall in her event at Penn State. In the trials, she clocked a school-record time of 8.54, which eclipsed her 2022 mark of 8.55. In the finals, she lowered her mark to 8.51.
Also at Penn State, the Bearcat women took first in the 4x400 relay. The team of graduate student

Hillary Abankwa posted a time of 3:50.06. On the men's side, senior
Mark Scanlon won the 600 with a time of 1:21.30.
The other four first-place finishes took place at Cornell. On the women's side, senior
Mallorie Turner won the triple jump (36-5 ½), sophomore
Lucciana Robertson captured the high jump (5-6) and fellow sophomore
Alyssa Armitage took top honors in the pole vault (11-1 ¾). The men's winner at Cornell was junior
Brandon Love, who recorded his second straight pole vault victory with a height of 14-8.
Up next for Binghamton is the Boston University/Valentine's Invitational this coming Friday and Saturday.
