Bearcats honor seniors Pawlowski, Pergel and Ben-Ari, lose to four-time defending champs 7-0

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Binghamton men's tennis suffered a 7-0 setback to four-time reigning MAC champion Western Michigan (6-1 MAC) Sunday afternoon at the Lane-Starke Tennis Center.

Before the match, BU honored its three seniors: Michael Pawlowicz, Dan Pergel and Adi Ben-Ari.

"Credit to Western ... they are always solid top to bottom," head coach Nick Zieziula said. "It was great to honor Michael, Dan and Adi pre-match for Senior Day. These three have been through a lot in their four years and always represented the program well on court, off court and in the classroom. As a class they are graduating with a 3.99 GPA, which is absolutely phenomenal."

The Bearcats continue conference play next Saturday afternoon at Buffalo.
