Men's tennis upended against Fairfield 4-2

Weekes wins in both singles and doubles; BU hosts Marist at 4:30 Sunday at LSTC

Box Score WEST POINT, N.Y. – Fairfield (2-5) rattled off four of the five completed singles matches to rally past Binghamton men's tennis (2-4) 4-2 in a neutral site match Saturday afternoon at Army's Lichtenberg Tennis Center.

The Bearcats opened play by seizing the doubles point with wins at the second and third spots. But the Stags countered in singles with a trio of straight-set victories and then the clinching three-set victory at No. 3 singles.

Senior Kyle Weekes was BU's lone singles winner after posting a 7-6 (8), 6-3 victory ate No. 4. Weekes also paired with sophomore Ronin Lotlikar for the clinching doubles win at No. 2.  

Binghamton hosts Marist at 4:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the Lane-Starke Tennis Center.
