Box Score TRUMBULL, Conn. – Visiting Binghamton men's tennis (9-8) kept rolling in conference play by defeating host Sacred Heart (3-11) 5-2 Saturday night at Tennis Club of Trumbull. The win was BU's fifth in the last seven overall matches and also lifted the team's NEC mark to 4-1.
The Bearcats grabbed the doubles point and then rode singles wins at positions 3-6 to close it out.
"It definitely wasn't our best ball-striking day today but the attitudes and mentality were on-point up and down the lineup," head coach
Nick Zieziula said. "We are looking forward to one more on the road tomorrow."

James McPherson were double-winners. Weekes was first off the court in singles after a resounding 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 5.
Binghamton finishes its weekend road swing with a 2 p.m. match Sunday in North Andover, Mass. against Merrimack.
