Box Score HAVERHILL, Mass. - Visiting Binghamton men's tennis (10-8, 5-1 NEC) won the final three singles matches to pull out a 4-3 win over Merrimack (7-10) Sunday afternoon at Willows Racquet and Fitness Center. It was BU's third straight win and sixth in its last eight matches. 

After dropping the doubles point and falling behind 3-1, BU stormed back to cap an unbeaten weekend on the road. 

Junior No. 4 Zubin Omar and freshman No. 3 Filipe Costa polished off 3-0 weekend singles marks with wins. Costa improved to 22-6 overall, 14-3 in duals with a three-set win. After dropping his opening set 7-5, he didn't drop another game in a 5-7, 6-0, 6-0 rout. 

With the match tied at 3-3, sophomore No. 6 Andrew Fang rallied from a first-set hole to post a 7-5, 6-2 clinching win for the Bearcats.  

"That's a tough weekend with lots of travel and three different facilities in three days," head coach Nick Zieziula said. "We didn't play our best tennis but the team competed in a different gear, always positive and always focused, ready to move forward. We worked all week on uncomfortable drills and the team responded well and brought those lessons in the matches."

Binghamton next faces Yale at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Cary Leeds Tennis Center in the Bronx.
