Men’s Tennis Picks Up 4-2 Win Over Niagara

Bearcats dominate singles play en route to first victory of the spring season

Box Score BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (binghamtonbearcats.com) - Binghamton Men's Tennis (1-1) picked up its first victory of the season over Niagara (0-2), Sunday afternoon inside the Lane-Starke Tennis Center. 

HOW IT HAPPENED
Niagara claimed the doubles point with wins in the first and third spots to start the match up 1-0. Ronin Lotlikar evened the score at one apiece with a swift victory next at second singles, 6-1, 6-1. 

The Purple Eagles grabbed another point at first singles to lead 2-1 before the Bearcats notched two wins in the third and fourth spots. Up 3-2, Andrew Fang clinched the team victory for Binghamton with a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 6 singles. 

Andre Ajed and Fang earned their first individual victories of the season over Niagara while Filipe Costa registered his second straight singles win of the spring campaign.
