Bearcats launch 2025-26 campaign at Cornell this weekend

VESTAL, N.Y. – The America East Conference has released its first-ever Indoor Track & Field Preseason Poll and Binghamton earned solid predictions on both the men's and women's sides. The Bearcat women were chosen second out of nine teams while the men were tabbed fourth.

UAlbany was the consensus pick on both the men's and women's sides. The voting was done by the nine conference head coaches - none of whom were allowed to vote for their own team.

At the 2025 America East Indoor Championships, Binghamton was third in the women's team standings and fifth in the men's competition. Three Bearcats who won individual titles at that meet return this season. They include junior Alyssa Armitage in the women's pole vault, sophomore Brennan Delany in the heptathlon and redshirt junior Brian Luciano in the weight throw.

This year's America East Indoor Championships return to the Boston University Track & Tennis Center. The dates of the meet are Feb. 20-21.

Binghamton opens its season on Friday at the two-day Cornell/Greg Page Relays.
