Track & Field Competes at Cornell Upstate Indoor Challenge

Bearcats post four individual winners in first meet of 2026

ITHACA, N.Y. – Binghamton finished with four individual champions, highlighting its performance at the Cornell Upstate Indoor Track & Field Challenge on Saturday at Barton Hall. The meet, which represented the Bearcats' first competition of 2026, did not include team scoring.

On the men's side, redshirt junior Brian Luciano won the weight throw for the second time in as many meets this season. His first-place distance was 62-9 ½. 

Also winning for the second time in two meets was Brennan Delany in the men's 60 hurdles with a time of 8.08. At the season-opening Greg Page Relays last month, Delany won the men's pole vault.

In addition, Binghamton swept first place in both the men's and women's 3,000 on Saturday. Freshman Noah Hilker clocked a winning time of 8:41.72 in the men's event while sophomore Eleanor Lees finished with a time of 10:36.50 in the women's competition.

Binghamton heads to the Bucknell Gulden Challenge this coming Saturday.
