Men’s Tennis Picks Up NEC Win at Mercyhurst

Bearcats sweep doubles play, take five of six singles matches

Box Score ERIE, Pa. (binghamtonbearcats.com) - Binghamton Men's Tennis (9-8, 3-1) picked up its third NEC victory of the season against Mercyhurst (1-7, 0-2), Thursday afternoon at the Westwood Racquet Club. 

HOW IT HAPPENED 
Binghamton swept doubles action to earn an early 1-0 lead over Mercyhurst. 

The Bearcats clinched the match less than an hour into singles play after William Morais Binnie, James McPherson and Andrew Fang notched straight-set wins in their respective slots. The Lakes recorded their sole victory at No. 4 singles before Kyle Weekes and Ronin Lotlikar completed three-set victories to round out the 6-1 team decision.
