Men’s Tennis Earns Wins Over Stonehill, Nichols

Bearcats pick up NEC victory over Stonehill before blanking Nichols

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 CUMBERLAND, R.I. (binghamtonbearcats.com) - Binghamton Men's Tennis (6-7, 2-1) earned an NEC victory over Stonehill, 6-1, before sweeping Nichols, 7-0, Saturday afternoon inside Forecourt Tennis Club. 

BINGHAMTON 6, STONEHILL 1

HOW IT HAPPENED
Binghamton started off with two strong performances at second and third doubles to establish an early 1-0 lead. Ronin Lotlikar and Andrew Fang picked up two straight-set wins in the second and fourth slots to open up singles play and extend the Bearcats edge to three. 

Stonehill registered its sole singles victory in the top position before Jonathan Arbittier, James McPherson and Andre Ajed defeated their respective opponents to clinch a 6-1 victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED 
Binghamton notched victories in all three doubles spots to grab an initial 1-0 edge. 

Filipe Costa, James McPherson and Kyle Weekes held their singles opponents to just four games across three matches to claim a swift team victory. Jonathan Arbittier, Andrew Fang and William Morais Binnie added their own dominant singles performances to complete the 7-0 sweep.
