Women dealt 4-1 loss before men claim 5-2 victory

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 NEW WINDSOR, N.Y. (binghamtonbearcats.com) - Binghamton Tennis split action against Marist, Saturday night inside Sportsplex. The women (3-7, 0-4) fell, 4-1, to the Red Foxes before the men (7-8, 2-1) picked up a 5-2 victory.

WOMEN

HOW IT HAPPENED
Binghamton notched wins in the top two slots to lead 1-0 after doubles play.

Marist then swept singles action in the first four spots to clinch a 4-1 team victory.

MEN'S

HOW IT HAPPENED
Binghamton put up wins at first and third doubles to own an early 1-0 advantage over Marist.

The Bearcats registered singles wins from Ronin Lotlikar, Andre Ajed and Filipe Costa next to secure the team victory for Binghamton. Marist notched a three-set decision at No. 1 singles before Zubin Omar collected the Bearcats's final individual win in the fifth spot.

The Red Foxes posted one more victory in the top slot to end the match 5-2 in favor of Binghamton.
