Tennis Earns Multiple ITA Academic Honors

Both programs named All-Academic Teams while 12 earn Scholar-Athlete honors

TEMPE, Ariz. (binghamtonbearcats.com) - Both Binghamton Tennis programs were named ITA All-Academic Teams while 13 student-athletes earned Scholar-Athlete honors, the organization announced Monday. 

To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, NCAA programs must have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale). The men's program finished the 2024-25 academic year with a 3.65 GPA while the women recorded a 3.61 GPA. 

Scholar-Athletes must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 for the current academic year. Julia Pedraza Palacios, Loren Cuomo, Caterina Casadei and Natalia Aruj represented the women's team as scholar-athletes. The men's team had eight selections in Filipe Costa, Ronin Lotlikar, Andre Ajed, Zubin Omar, Andrew Fang, Jonathan Arbittier, Kyle Weekes and William Morais Binnie
