Freshman diver met a pair of NCAA Zone Cuts at Marist

VESTAL, N.Y. – Freshman diver Samuel Pikofsky-Christiansen has been named the America East Men's Rookie of the Week. It marks the second time this season that he has earned a weekly accolade from the conference - having been named the top men's diver on Nov. 24.

Pikofsky-Christiansen swept both the one- and three-meter diving events in the Bearcats' dual meet win at Marist on Saturday. His scores of 311.10 in the one-meter and 327.30 in the three-meter met the NCAA Zone Diving Qualifying Standards in both events.

Binghamton has now had two men earn America East Rookie of the Week honors so far this season. Isaih Francis was the pick on both Nov. 4 and Nov. 11.

Binghamton hosts Wagner on Saturday in its annual Senior Day Meet.
