Freshman pole vaulter won event at Bucknell Gulden Invite

VESTAL, N.Y. – Freshman pole vaulter Owen Keating has been named the America East Men's Field Athlete of the Week. It marks the first time in his career that he has earned a weekly accolade from the conference.

Keating won the pole vault at the Bucknell Gulden Invitational. His height of 16-4 ¾ currently ranks first in the America East this season as well as No. 95 in the nation.

Binghamton has a pair of meets on its schedule this weekend. The Penn State National Open takes place Friday-Saturday while the Cornell Invitational is set for Saturday.
