VESTAL, N.Y. – For the second time this season, freshman
Harry Liao was named the Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league Thursday afternoon.
Liao was named NEC Rookie of the Week after going 2-0 against Colgate this past weekend. In doubles action Liao and partner
Ronin Lotlikar won in a tiebreaker match, 7-6 (7-2) as Binghamton's top pair.
The Chengdu, China native would then go on to win his singles game in a three-set battle, winning 6-3, 2-6, and 7-6 (7-1).
Liao was also named one of the NEC's Prime Performers, along with Lotlikar who won his doubles match with Liao and his singles match as the top player for Binghamton, 6-3, 6-2.
The Bearcats are back in action this Saturday against Duquesne.
