Lotlikar earns fourth NEC Player of the Week accolade

VESTAL, N.Y. – Ronin Lotlikar of Binghamton men's tennis was named Northeast Conference Player of the Week, as per the league's announcement on Tuesday afternoon.

Lotlikar notched his fourth NEC Player of the Week award this season after going 3-1 in conference play and helping Binghamton defeat FDU 4-3 on Saturday.

The Bengaluru, India native went 2-0 in singles play and split his doubles matches over the weekend.  He convincingly defeated FDU's Gryffin Minor (6-3, 6-0) and LIU's Bassil Touban (6-3, 6-2) from the No. 1 spot on back-to-back days. Lotlikar has now won six singles contests in a row and is 10-5 in dual matches this season.

The senior paired with Harry Liao to best LIU duo Touban and James Vincent, 6-1.

Binghamton returns to play when they take on NEC opponent Mercyhurst on Thursday.
