BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – Binghamton men's tennis (4-8) took victory over Colgate (4-5) 6-1 at the Lane – Starke Tennis Center Saturday evening. Saturday's match the team's second annual Game, Set, Grow promotion, which is run by Tennis Charities of Binghamton (TCOB).
With a nice crowd in attendance, the Bearcats certainly put on a show, as Binghamton swept the doubles matches convincingly to get the team's first point of the day.
From there,
Ronin Lotlikar and
Filipe Costa cruised in singles play to earn Binghamton their next two points.
Harry Liao battled in a three-set match, but went on to claim victory, winning 6-3 2-6 7-6 (7-1).
Dylan Breen picked up a win in the fifth slot, winning 6-4 6-3.
Binghamton returns to action when they face off against Duquesne next Saturday.
