Men's tennis close out regular season with 5-2 win over Le Moyne

Bearcats sit atop of the conference at 6-1

Box Score BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – Binghamton men's tennis (10-10, 6-1 NEC) defeated Le Moyne (4-9, 2-5 NEC) in their final match of the regular season, 5-2 at the Lane – Starke Tennis Center. Saturday's match was also the Bearcats' senior day, where Ronin Lotlikar, Andrew Fang and James McPherson were recognized.

Binghamton started strong by claiming the doubles point with the help from pairs Lotlikar/Harry Liao and Fang/Dylan Breen wining their matches 6-4 and 7-5.

Lotlikar continued his dominate run in singles play by winning in straight sets 6-1, 6-4 over Carlo Zucchini. He has now won his last nine matches in singles action.

A fresh Filipe Costa dominated in the No. 2 singles slot, winning 6-1 and 6-3. McPherson earned his first singles victory of the spring season with a 6-3, 6-0 win in the No. 5 position, and Fang won in straight sets 6-3, 6-0 to round out the Binghamton's victory.

Sitting at 6-1 in conference play, the Bearcats will await to see their seeding for the Northeast Conference Tournament. A three-day tournament in Mercer, N.J. that begins on Thursday, April 16.
