VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton women's soccer (3-0) brings a 16-game regular season unbeaten streak into a Thursday night test against Siena (3-1). The teams tangle for the first time in five years at 6:07 p.m. at the Bearcats Sports Complex.
Binghamton has posted three straight shutout wins to open the 2026 campaign and is coming off a resounding 4-0 victory at Le Moyne on Sunday. The Bearcats haven't been beaten in the regular season since last Aug. 24 (2-0 loss at Monmouth) and are 11-0-5 during that calendar year.
Junior forward
Jahkaya Davis (3 goals) and senior forward
Paige Luke (2 goals, 2 assists) have paced the offense with six points apiece. Six different players have scored for a lineup that has outscored opponents 9-0 early this fall. Senior keeper
Rebecca Kessler has posted three shutouts but has been mostly idle, thanks to a stingy back line in front of her. Luke is the reigning America East Offensive Player of the Week after scoring twice at Le Moyne. Sophomore defender
Ale Victoriano was named Defensive Player of the Week after netting a goal and leading the defense to another shutout.
Siena has posted three straight 1-0 wins - all over America East opponents (UNH, UAlbany, Bryant). The Saints beat Bryant on Sunday despite only registering five shots. Siena currently has a seven-game unbeaten streak (5-0-2) against America East members. The team returned six starters from a 9-win team that posted 10 shutouts and allowed less than a goal a game in 2025. The Saints were picked tied for fourth (of 13) in the Metro Preseason Poll.
The all-time series between the two programs is even at 4-4. They first played in 2001 and have alternated wins and losses for eight straight matchups. In the last head-to-head game in 2021, Siena scored a goal in each half and posted a 2-0 win in Loudonville. Seven of the eight games between the two programs have been decided by one goal.
