PRINCETON, N.J. -- Sophomore
Jesse Garn placed a team-best 31st place overall, highlighting Binghamton's performance at the Princeton Invitational on Saturday. The Bearcats placed 10th out of 24 squad in the final team standings.

Garn covered the 8,000-meter course in a time of 24:54. He was followed by fellow sophomores
Matt Johnson in 64th place (25:17) and
Collin Frost in 71st place (25:21). Freshman
Ethan Hausamann was 82nd (25:28) and junior
Chris Fernandez was 90th (25:31).
There were 212 runners in the race, which was won by Eric Speakman of Stony Brook (23:58). St. Joseph's took the team title with 46 points.
The women's team will be in action next Friday while the men are off until the America East Meet in New Hampshire Oct. 27
