HANOVER, N.H. -- Binghamton men's tennis (3-3) beat the storm getting to New Hampshire but came up short in a dual against No. 59 Dartmouth, 6-1, Friday afternoon inside the Boss Tennis Center and Gordon Pavilion. Dartmouth (2-3) grabbed the doubles point and then captured five of the six singles matches.
Freshman No. 4 Sid Hazarika provided the lone point with a 7-5, 4-6, 7-5 singles win. Hazarika improved to 5-1 early in his collegiate career.
The Bearcats pushed the nationally-ranked Big Green to three sets at fifth singles and lost in two tiebreaks at the second spot.
Binghamton will remain in Hanover and face Boston College on Saturday.
