VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton women's soccer will play its final non-conference game of the season Sunday when the Bearcats (1-6-1) face undefeated Cornell (5-0-2) at 4 p.m. at Berman Field.

Binghamton is coming off a 1-0 loss at FDU on Friday night. The Bearcats allowed a goal in the eighth minute and despite logging 10 shots, BU couldn't come up with the equalizer. Sophomore keeper Katie Hatziyianis was busy all night and made a career-high 11 saves.

Cornell has started the season with seven consecutive shutouts and is one of only two teams in the nation to yet concede a goal this season (Rutgers is the other). The Big Red edged Seton Hall 1-0 in their last outing on Thursday. Last Sunday, Cornell edged St. Bonaventure 1-0 at home, three weeks after BU also beat the Bonnies by a goal. Junior keeper Kelsey Tierney has only had to make 16 saves in seven games. Dating back to last season, the Big Red has a shutout streak of 794 minutes, 5 seconds.

The Bearcats and Big Red have met eight times with Cornell holding a 4-2-2 advantage. Cornell has won three of the last four games, including last year's 1-0 overtime game in Vestal.
