VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton  men's tennis (6-14, 1-4 MAC) posted four singles wins to rally past visiting Toledo (11-12, 2-4 MAC) 4-3 Saturday morning at the Bearcats Tennis Complex.Â
Toledo won the doubles point and the first two completed singles matches to stake a 3-0 lead and move within one match of clinching the team victory. But the Bearcats battled for wins at Nos. 2, 3, 5 and 6 to pull out the win.
Freshman No. 3
Kushaan Nath won his team-high 22nd match of the season with a straight-set victory. Sophomore
Inigo Saez clinched the win with his 7-6, 6-3 triumph at sixth singles. Â Â
"Winston Churchill defined success as the ability to go from one failure to the next with no loss of enthusiasm," head coach
Nick Zieziula said. "I think we came pretty close to meeting his definition today. We had a disappointing road trip out west and we had match points in the doubles, we got down 3-0 on the scoreboard  and we had some leads in singles start to slip away but we didn't waiver on our enthusiasm to keep working and fighting. We've got to keep that mentality going because Wednesday will be a battle against Buffalo."
The Bearcats host Buffalo at 3 p.m. on Wednesday.Â
