HANOVER, N.H. - Junior No. 1
Sid Hazarika posted a three-set win over the 93rd-ranked player in the country but host Dartmouth (6-4) defeated Binghamton men's tennis 6-1 Friday night at the Boss Tennis Center.
Hazarika dropped the first set before roaring back to earn his biggest win of the year. Earlier, senior
Robin Lesage and junior
Eliott Hureau teamed for a 6-3 win at No. 2 doubles.
"It was a big win for Sid today," head coach
Nick Zieziula said. "He's really been focused in practice on staying patient with his patterns and it's showing in his matches. Robin and Eliott put in another solid performance in doubles. They were very consistent with the energy which is key. We still need to work on putting together a complete match through all doubles and all singles."Â
The Bearcats (2-5) will have a short turnaround before facing Brown at noon Saturday at the Manchester Athletic Club (Mass.).
