Junior
Eliott Hureau dropped the first set at No. 3 before rallying for a 4-6, 6-2, 7-6 win. Hureau won the tiebreak 7-3 to claim victory. Sophomore No. 6
Frenk Kote also posted a three-set win, rolling to a 6-2 final-set score.Â
"In terms of attitude, effort and composure today was the most complete match that wehave played," head coach
Nick Zieziula said. "I am proud of the way we battled on every court. We needed to do a better job of executing and running our pace when we were up. In order to beat ranked teams like Brown we need to capitalize on the first opportunity and not let them hang around."
Binghamton next plays at Columbia on Feb. 27.
