PRINCETON, N.J. - Binghamton men's tennis played its fifth consecutive match against a nationally-ranked opponent and the Bearcats (2-9) fell to No. 25 Princeton (12-3) 7-0 Sunday morning at Jadwin Gym.

Junior No. 3 Eliott Hureau and sophomore No. 5 Frenk Kote each took a set off their opponent before losing. The No. 2 doubles tandem of Hureau and senior Robin Lesage played a tight 7-5 set at doubles.

"We had a few opportunities in doubles, but against a top 25 team if you don't convert those they are going to run with the match and that's what happened," head coach Nick Zieziula said. "We had some break points to get No. 1 doubles back on serve and didn't convert. Princeton did a great job of rolling that momentum from doubles into the singles."
 
Binghamton next plays No. 46 Cornell at 5 p.m. next Saturday at the Binghamton Tennis Center.
